Today i wanted to play online but when i click on join button nothing happens.

I wanna know if there s a way around this so i can play custom maps with friends like horizine arena or a payday theme map. If i have matchmaking set to creat new game or friends only it either doesn t allow me to have a lobby or makes a public lobby on biotics lab. So i just bought this game yesterday.
